Step 1: Access Your cPanel Account

1. Open your web browser and enter the URL for your cPanel. It's typically in the format https://yourdomain.com:2083, where "yourdomain.com" is your website's domain. (or through our Portal)
2. Log in using your cPanel username and password. If you don't have this information, contact your web hosting provider.

Step 2: Locate the Subdomains Section

1. Inside your cPanel, find the "Subdomains" section or a similar label. Click on it to access subdomain management.

Step 3: Create a Subdomain

1. In the "Subdomains" section, you will see a form for creating a subdomain. Fill out the following details:
   • Subdomain: Enter the subdomain name you want to create (e.g., "blog" if you want to create "blog.yourdomain.com").
   • Domain: Select the primary domain under which you want to create the subdomain. If you have multiple domains, choose the appropriate one.
   • Document Root: This field will automatically generate a path based on your subdomain name. You can typically leave it as suggested.

Step 4: Create the Subdomain

1. After filling in the subdomain details, click the "Create" or "Add Subdomain" button. cPanel will validate the information and create the subdomain for you.

Step 5: Configure the Subdomain (Optional)

1. If you want to use the subdomain to host a website or specific content, you can configure it by uploading files to the document root directory. You can use FTP or the cPanel File Manager to upload your content to the subdomain.

Step 6: Test the Subdomain

1. Once the subdomain is created and configured, you can test it by entering the subdomain URL (e.g., "http://blog.yourdomain.com") in your web browser.

That's it! You've successfully created a subdomain. Subdomains are often used to organize different sections of a website, host additional web applications, or set up custom email addresses associated with the subdomain.
