UK VPS hosting on AMD EPYC
Guaranteed cores, SSD RAID storage and full root access on a UK network, from £5.99 a month with no VAT to add. Every plan runs on AMD EPYC by default. If your workload depends on single-core speed, upgrade it to AMD Ryzen.
Every size, both processors
EPYC is the standard plan. The Ryzen column is the upgrade for the same memory, cores and storage. Prices are per month with no VAT to add.

Every plan includes DDoS protection, one IPv4 address, full root access and Windows or Linux, and 6 GB plans and above include 5 TB of monthly bandwidth. Ryzen plans have a 2 Gbps network port; EPYC plans have 1 Gbps.
EPYC or Ryzen?
Both are AMD, both give you guaranteed cores. The difference is what each chip was built to do.
Default
AMD EPYC
AMD's server processor: many cores per chip, built to run around the clock in a data centre. Our EPYC cores run at 3.1 GHz or more, and the plans go up to 20 GB with 8 cores.
Pick EPYC for
- Business websites and most WordPress sites
- Databases, APIs and web apps
- VPNs, monitoring and always-on tools
- Anything where more memory matters more than core speed
Upgrade
AMD Ryzen
A desktop-class processor with much higher clock speeds. Our 2 GB to 8 GB Ryzen plans run on the Ryzen 7 5700X, which AMD rates at up to 4.6 GHz, so each core finishes single-threaded work sooner. Every Ryzen plan also gets a 2 Gbps network port.
Pick Ryzen for
- Busy WooCommerce shops and heavy PHP
- Game servers such as Minecraft
- Trading bots and other latency-sensitive tools
- Builds, compiling and CI jobs
Not sure? Start on EPYC. If you hit a single-core limit, raise a ticket and we'll move you to the matching Ryzen size. Our Ryzen vs EPYC guide goes into more detail.
What every VPS includes
The same tools on the £5.99 plan as on the largest one.
- DDoS protection. On every plan, from the smallest up.
- Guaranteed cores. Reserved for your VPS, not shared out when the host is busy.
- SSD RAID storage. 64 GB to 256 GB depending on size.
- Full root access. Install and configure anything you like.
- Windows or Linux. Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky, Fedora or Windows, ready to deploy, or mount your own ISO.
- Browser console. An HTML5 VNC console that works even when the operating system won't boot, so you can fix a bad firewall rule yourself.
- Live graphs. CPU, memory and network usage in real time, so you can resize on evidence.
- UK data centre. Low latency for UK visitors.
- 99.9% uptime SLA. Set out in our service level agreement.
- Managed option. Want the upkeep handled? Add managed services and we'll patch, secure and monitor it.
One real benchmark, unedited
A YABS run from 18 April 2026 on an EPYC plan with 6 cores and 8 GB, exactly as it printed. That node has an AMD EPYC 7371; yours may run on a different EPYC node. See the Geekbench result.

Should I choose EPYC or Ryzen for WordPress?
For most WordPress sites, EPYC is plenty, and it's what every plan runs on by default. A busy WooCommerce shop is different: PHP handles each request on a single core, so a faster core shortens every page load. That's where the Ryzen upgrade earns its price.
Which is better for a game server?
Ryzen. Minecraft and most game servers run their main loop on one core, so per-core speed matters more than how many cores the machine has. Pick the Ryzen plan with enough memory for your player count.
Can I move from EPYC to Ryzen later?
Yes. Raise a ticket and we'll move your VPS to the matching Ryzen size. The same works the other way if you find EPYC is all you need.
Are the cores shared with other customers?
No. The cores on each plan are guaranteed to your VPS, so another customer's busy server can't take them from you.
Is VAT added to the price?
No. We're not VAT registered, so the monthly price on this page is the full price you pay.
Can I run Windows on the VPS?
Yes, Windows is available on every plan, though most web workloads run faster and cheaper on Linux. Compare them in our Windows VPS vs Linux VPS guide.
Are backups included?
Unmanaged VPS plans don't include automatic backups, since you have full root access and may run your own backup tooling. We can add daily backups on request, and managed plans include them as standard.
Can you migrate my existing server to you?
Yes. Share access to your current server and we'll move your sites, databases and configuration across, test everything on the new VPS, then switch DNS over at a time that suits you.
Not sure which size?
Tell us what you're running and we'll suggest a size and processor, including telling you when the smaller plan is enough.
Full root access means you own what runs on it. No spam, proxy abuse, scanning or traffic that damages the network's reputation.
