Microsoft 365 Business Standard
Everything in Business Basic, plus the installed desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on up to five PCs or Macs per person, for £12.96 a user a month. Email on your own domain, Teams and 1 TB of storage each are included too.
That's the full price: we're not VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add. Or £15.55 on a rolling monthly plan.
Set up, migrated and supported by us in Chesterfield. We get Office installed and signed in on everyone's machines.
- 5PCs or Macs each
- 5 + 5tablets and phones each
- 1 TBOneDrive each
- 100 GBmailbox each
What you get for £12.96
Everything below is in every Business Standard licence. The first six are what Standard adds over Basic.
Desktop Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
The full installed apps for Windows and Mac, plus OneNote, and Access on Windows. The same versions you'd buy on their own, kept up to date automatically.
Five PCs or Macs per person
Each user can install Office on up to five computers, five tablets and five phones, so the work laptop and the home iMac are both covered.
Works without an internet connection
Open, edit and save files on a train or a building site. They sync back to OneDrive when you're online again.
Full Excel
Macros, Power Query, Power Pivot on Windows and large workbooks, which the browser version can't handle.
Outlook on the desktop
The installed Outlook with rules, shared calendars, delegate access and offline mail, alongside the web and phone versions.
Teams webinars
Run an online event with a registration page, emails to people who sign up, and an attendance report afterwards.
Email on your domain, shared inboxes free
A 100 GB mailbox per person on [email protected]. Shared mailboxes like info@ don't need a licence.
Teams chat and meetings
Chat, channels and meetings with up to 300 attendees, including people outside your business.
1 TB of OneDrive and SharePoint
A terabyte of cloud storage per user, plus shared company libraries with version history.
Multi-factor sign-in
Two-step sign-in for every account, switched on during setup so a phished password alone can't get anyone in.
Installed where people actually work
One licence covers a person's laptop, home computer, tablet and phone. Files save to OneDrive, so whichever device they pick up has the latest version.
What Standard doesn't cover
Business Standard gives you the apps, not the security and device management. There's no way to enforce a passcode on someone's phone, check a laptop is encrypted, or wipe company data from a device that's been lost or stolen. Email filtering is the standard level, without the link and attachment checking that catches newer phishing.
If staff read work email on their own phones, laptops leave the office, or a customer has asked you about Cyber Essentials, look at Business Premium. And if some of your team never open a desktop app, put them on Business Basic and save the difference. Licences are per person, so mixing plans is normal.

Is it right for you?
A good fit for
- Anyone who lives in Excel, or needs macros and Power Query
- People who work offline: travelling, on site or with patchy broadband
- Businesses already buying Office separately alongside their email
- Teams that run webinars, training sessions or open evenings online
Pick something else if
- Nobody opens the desktop apps. Business Basic at £6.48 has the same email, Teams and storage.
- Staff use personal phones for work, or you need to wipe lost devices. That's Business Premium, with Intune and Defender.
- You only need email, nothing else. cPanel email with web hosting from £2.50 a month covers the whole account, not per mailbox.
What we do for you
Buying the licence is the easy part. Here's what happens after you get in touch.
A short call
You tell us how many people need email, where it lives now and what they actually use day to day. If this plan is the wrong fit, we'll say so.
Your domain, connected
We create your Microsoft 365 account and add the DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC) so your mail arrives and doesn't land in spam.
Old email moved across
Mailboxes, contacts and calendars come over from Gmail, GoDaddy, 123 Reg, cPanel or wherever they are now. Read how the migration works.
Office installed on every machine
We install and sign in Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams on everyone's computers and phones, and check old Office versions are removed so licences aren't wasted.
Then we look after it
New starter, leaver, lost phone or a mailbox that's full: tell us and it's sorted. No overseas queue.
Ask about Business Standard
This goes straight to our team, not a sales queue. You'll get a reply within one business day, with a price for your headcount and a plan for moving your email.
Business Standard questions
How much is Microsoft 365 Business Standard?
£12.96 per user per month on an annual plan, or £15.55 on a rolling monthly plan. There's no VAT to add, because we're not VAT registered. Shared mailboxes such as info@ don't need a licence.
What's included in Business Standard?
Installed desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote for Windows and Mac, a 100 GB mailbox on your own domain, Microsoft Teams with meetings and webinars, and 1 TB of OneDrive storage per user.
How is Standard different from Business Basic?
Basic gives you the browser and mobile versions of the Office apps only. Standard adds the installed desktop apps, so you can work offline and use features like Excel macros and Power Query, plus Teams webinars.
How many devices can I install Office on?
Each licensed user can install the desktop apps on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five phones, all signed in to the same account.
Does it work on a Mac?
Yes. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote all have Mac versions. Access is Windows only.
Can I mix Standard with Basic or Premium?
Yes. Licences are per person, so people who only need email and Teams can be on Basic, and anyone handling sensitive data can be on Premium. We'll suggest the cheapest mix that covers what each person does.
Can you move our existing email across?
Yes. We migrate mailboxes, contacts and calendars from Gmail, Google Workspace, GoDaddy, 123 Reg, cPanel hosting and most other providers, and we time the switch so you don't lose mail in between.
We already own Office 2019 or 2021. Do we still need Standard?
Not necessarily. If those copies do what you need, Business Basic gives you the email, Teams and storage for less. The catch is that older Office versions stop getting security updates, so we'll check the dates for your version.
Can I upgrade to Premium later?
Yes, at any time and per person. Mailboxes, files and installed apps all stay as they are.
